What to look for in 2010 Swimwear!Posted on Tuesday Mar 2 9:55:00 UTC 2010 Listed under: Being savvy when it comes to swimwear is knowing what is in fashion, what suits your body shape and more importantly when to buy it!
New Season swimwear comes into shops January, February and March each year. The fashion industry works a season ahead if you leave buying your swimwear as late as June you may find you can't find what you want in your size. So have a look early on, get it and then plan where you're going to wear it!
For 2010 the colours are brighter than they were for the '09 season we love the Panache Pebbles range with a luxurious mix of colours that gives a rich expensive feel. For 2010 there is also a big trend towards the classic look in either all white or all black swimwear with some ranges combining black with white such as the Pour Moi Halter Neck swimsuit. To get the best look possible on the beach it is essential if you are above a DD cup that you get a bra sized bikini or swimsuit as it will give you better support and be far more flattering, women who have a full bust really benefit from the hidden bra inside swimwear it gives them shape and definition and makes them look slimmer.
If you are below a DD cup you can try dress sized swimwear, look for a style that will flatter your bust and legs, the variations are endless, its worth popping into a specialist bra or lingerie shop as they often have a variety that is different to that available onn the high street and a bra fitting consultant will help you choose what would be right for your body shape. Be prepared to pay a little more than you would on the high street - one of the advantages is the fact that you won't be walking about on the beach seeing others all shapes and sizes in the same costume as you! Added to the fact that yours will fit you better, be more flattering and its last you for at least two summers - if you want it to that is!
